Samrudi - Empowering Women in Micro Enterprise

BDSSS, in collaboration with Samrudi Rural Upliftment and various financial and banking networks, acknowledges the pivotal role that women play in the rural Indian economy. The Samrudi initiative is dedicated to supporting and empowering women by providing access to credit and essential training, particularly for those at high risk, to foster self-employment opportunities.

The Challenge: Women in rural areas often encounter substantial hurdles in accessing credit, ranging from restrictive social norms to the absence of collateral. These challenges can significantly impede their economic progress and independence.

Our Approach: BDSSS is committed to breaking down these barriers and equipping women with the resources they require to thrive as entrepreneurs. The key components of our approach include:
